Fantastic views and delicious food! Friendly service and we were seated and served very quickly for a Saturday lunch. The lobster and corn bisque was creamy and full of lobster. Our oysters were fresh and the lobster roll was impressive. We would definitely recommend and return!
Food was great. I am don’t typically enjoy fried food but had the fried chicken sandwich and it was perfectly cooked! Prices were reasonable and service was great.
Stopped in for lunch. It was pretty nice. Met some nice local folks as we are from out of town. Enjoyed talking with them. Friendly atmosphere. Prices were ok and food was good. I ate the whole sandwich even though it was not exactly what I thought it would it be. Don't recall the name, but it was fried chicken, BBQ sandwich. AWESOME!
Went to this great restaurant for dinner with coworkers for a party of eleven and the dinner was amazing. We had to wait a little while but the food was quality. Everything was so fresh and delicious that we were all convinced it was worth the wait for the meal. I enjoyed many appetizers including the buffalo chicken dip and pretzel twists. The Tavern Melt was incredible. Everything else that everyone near me ate all looked like it was made at a 5 star restaurant in Boston and according to all in attendance their meal was fantastic. They also host functions, weddings, etc. so you can be sure that I will be coming back!!!
For my best friends birthday we decided to stay in downtown Plymouth and have a night without our kids. Our second stop of the evening was at the tavern on the wharf, for a drink. We both ordered margaritas her's regular, mine the special blackberry version listed on their menu. I was disgusted with the taste but thought it might have been the blackberries being bad. My friend asked me to taste hers and the same dishwater soap taste, to much sour or I am not even sure. We were unable to drink them, the bar tender ignored our attempt to signal her even when she came over with the bill, she placed it down without eye contact and walked away. After wincing through a few more terrible sips we decided we couldn't bare it any longer, and without getting any attention we paid and left. However, the issue didn't end there, for the rest of the evening we had upset stomachs and felt sick. Really ruined our one night out together in years without children and husbands. I would not recommend this place as a pit stop for drinks!!!
