Good grief! What happened? 2 bad meals in 2 weeks. We're done. The waitress was nice though. The hostess gave away our table because she forgot to look outside.
Just ordered a pepper and onion pizza. Checked the published menu. $12 + $1 for toppings. OK. Picked up pizza. Charged $16. Looked at the take out menu at the window. $12 +$1. Response: Our prices went up but the new menus haven't come in yet. Toppings, which were $.50 are now $2.00 apiece. Got home and checked online menu. $12 + $1. So you are advertising one price and charging another. You should charge the ADVERTISED price. No problem. The Monte Christo isn 't that far. Better pizza at half the price.
THE worst meal I've had at a restaurant in a very long time. Pathetic customer service too. We tried to be nice but could only shake our heads. Don't order a salad with shrimp on it. Way overpriced. Dry, small shrimp. Awful greens, etc.
the wait is long and their steak subs are very chewy! i will not be eating there anymore. i gave them 2 tries and both times I was disappointed. the only positive thing i could say is they are friendly
I am fairly tough on Italian American restaurants because very few places get it right. There is good and bad here and my take is that Mamma Mias is popular because of it's Pinehills location. The pizza is New York style and not bad. Everything else is not very impressive, especially the prices. The tomatoe sauce is bland and overcooked. Antipasto is nothing more than lettuce and shredded cheese.
