Visited the week before thanksgiving during a cold snap. The trail was easy enough for our hiking stroller for the kids to take a break from the cold in.

The staff was energetic and made it a great experience despite the fact that they were probably freezing!

Fantastic experience for the wife and I. Very kid friendly. Not handicap friendly though. Lots of walking on trails and hard for wheelchairs, etc. People were in costume and knowledgeable. Could be tough when it rains with all the mud. But that was true pilgrim life. Price was a bit steep. But all in all it was quite enjoyable.

We learned a lot and are eager to come back as the kids get older!

Everyone took time to explain what they were doing. I know it is their job, but they seemed to genuinely enjoy teaching and sharing. We had a 3 and 5 year old with us, and they adjusted their lessons to help the little ones stay engaged and understand.

How do you go to Plymouth and NOT get a Thanksgiving Sandwich? The correct answer is, "YOU CAN'T!" Whenever we make it to Plymouth, we stop in and get them. Lucioso's does a great job, too. And they are located right next to an historic waterwheel. Great beer selection and good service.

The star attraction in Plymouth. Fun and entertaining. I would recommend for adults and children over 8+. The younger children may not benefit from the museum and interaction with the characters. It is not a theme park, obviously. The place has come a LONG way since 2012. I went there as a teenager on a filed trip for American Studies. Still great after all these years!

Going as a child was great. I definitely see that they need funding but they are privately owned, no government funding (please donate if you have the money). The staff is so knowledgeable. I think I learned more there talking with the staff more than in any history book in school. I find a lot of that history is wrong anyways. To the victor goes the spoils.
