Its a magical place with tons of original old objects. Completed by a tour wit one of the guides who seem deeply involved in the history of the pilgrims, its a perfect time travel.
Great place to visit if you like history. If you have bad knees, or can't handle narrow staircases, maybe this trip is not for you because the stairs and hallways are kind of narrow and hard to navigate. Otherwise, I highly recommend the location.
I am a descendant of John and Elizabeth Howland, so this was an especially incredible experience for me. It was awesome to walk where my ancestors walked on the stone floor. There was so much to look at and learn! We were also able to drive to the Howland homestead where they are excavating for artifacts, etc.
A piece of American history! Knowledgeable staff to guide you through the house giving you it's history.
