Inexpensive and very friendly. I really enjoyed my stay. I really liked how friendly the other guests were. And did I mention the great location?
We march in the Thanksgiving parade every year and love this location for convenience. However, they had to change our rooms 3 times. First set of rooms had broken toilet and had a strong smell of pet urine. The second set of rooms I could even open the door to the one room and the other room had urine and toilet paper in the room. Finally got rooms that were borderline acceptable. These rooms are very, very old, poorly decorated, no mattress covers on beds, worn out drapery and furniture, etc. Personnel seemed borderline apologetic and had no idea which rooms have been upgraded when asked. In fact, every year we've been there, they say they're renovating the rooms. It's a shame that this hotel is so bad, because the location is perfect! The hotel needs to be gutted to the studs and totally redone. If I didn't complain the 1/2 dozen times, I would have gotten anything taken off from the room. We paid for a waterfront room and ended up with a street view. I don't complain a lot about anything, so for me to complain at all, means there's something really wrong with this hotel! HORRIBLE. Not staying here again!
Nice room, clean and right in the action. I love the pool small but always plenty of room to swim.
