Unprofessional and unfriendly owners. Old and stuffy room that wasn't clean.
And no refund even though we asked for at least a partial refund for our planned two day stay. They even told us all of their guests had arrived ( but apparently they turned around and left too, because there were no other cars in their decrepit driveway that couldn't fit more than three cars).
But WHAT A COSTLY MOSTAkE!!! We ended up at the Hilton Garden Inn which was clean and quiet and elegant. The following day we drove to Rockport where there are many great options.
I don't recall the hosts names at the time, but the service was great. Her cooking was so good. Kind of surprised to see the negative reviews from a very short time afterwards, unless they changed hosts right after we left. Ours also suggested dining at 42 degrees north up on the highway, which we did both evenings we stayed there. Again, great food.

I have never, ever written a bad review before but I would not want anyone else to be fooled and as disappointed as we were. And we travel a lot in the Northeast.
Great hot breakfast. Friendly owners. Very clean. Walking distance to the ocean. Every room has a private bathroom. Sweet quaint living room, sitting area and outdoor patio.
I reserved a king room and was shocked at how much private space I had. I had a mini fridge and microwave.
We drove in and we're so disgusted by this run down home with garbage cans out front and plastic white swans tossed all over the side yard. Ugly, paint chipping, . . . we had driven four hours hoping for our anniversary weekend to be special. Instead, we were met with their fraudulent marketing of 4 stars! The whole neighborhood was run down.
This is such a charming bed & breakfast & the host is just as charming. There were cookies & clean rooms upon arrival, breakfast was unbelievably delightful & the location is perfect! Highly recommend :)
We even asked the online marketers to not allow inns to advertise they are 4star when they are NOT. Where is the oversight????
My wife and I stayed there in June of '16. The place was spotless, the hosts very nice. Breakfast was excellent. We stayed in the king-bed room at the top of the stairs on the right. Slept with the window open.
