I went to update my license to change my last name after marriage and made sure to fill out the application beforehand. A woman stood at the front with forms and directing those who came in, which seemed helpful and she directed me to the "Ready" queue where my application was looked over. I was given a number then infamously waited to be called. I was "M13" but heard "R7", "O18", "B20", "X18". How are you supposed to know when you'll be called with an order like that? I thought about running to the bathroom but couldn't risk it. Thankfully I didn't wait too long, I was there for a half hour. Everyone was polite and helpful and got me on my way.
I only have one problem with this place and that's the lack of seating arrangements for people. The people that work there are kind and understanding. They don't act like robots like many people would think. They know that you don't want to be in there for long and just want to help you out. Go on to the RMV website and look at all of the different things that you can do there. You'd be very surprised.
I still have yet to find a registry that has friendly staff. I always leave here feeling angry because of how rude everybody is. The only reason for the extra star is because one person was able to help me find another RMV to go to that had more friendly staff. What a joke.
Some rude lady came out to people lining up before they opened, telling people not to block her doors but move to the side and block the elevator and stair case. Not very intelligent.
I went to the registry yesterday to renew my license since I could not review on line (did it five years ago). I am handicap, the rude greater told me to follow the green line, and said it three times, because I was taking to long. I told her that I was going as fast as I could and it would take me a minute. I went to the green line and it was long. There was no place to sit and I can't stand for more than a couple of minutes. I left. Not really accommodating, I would give zero stars but not an option.
