This review is far past due. A year ago my sister daughter and I stayed at the Mirabeau in Plymouth Massachusetts. My sister had a rental car that we weren't able to use so we didn't have a ride to Plymouth Plantation. They unsuccessfully tried getting us a taxi but to no avail. The handyman of the hotel named Joe over heard and offered to give my daughter and I a ride to the Plantation. He said if you don't mind riding in my truck, which we didn't, I can take you there. He happily drove us there and wouldn't even accept payment for his awesome services. I tried and tried but he absolutely would not accept. I just want to thank the awesome staff and especially Joe for going the extra mile and making our stay superb. This was our favorite hotel of our two week vacation and I was so bummed out we only booked for one evening. I would have loved to stay a week.
I have been trying to book my sisters baby shower for the beginning of November. I called and spoke with Alyson who seemed nice , said availability was there and she would email me our menu options. I never got an email. On Monday of the following week I called again, no call back. On Wednesday I called back and left a message for the manager of sales, no response. I flew up from Orlando to plan this day with my sister, timing is getting near, and we this place seemed fitting for our tea party theme. I am flying home tomorrow without a response from them. Very disappointed in the disregard for others, for the lack of integrity, and for the wasted time hoping this was our place and ended up with zero results.
The service at the restaurant is an absolute disaster! The hostess is very rude. There is huge turnover of staff because the management at the hotel does not treat their employees well! They allow people to sit in the dining room with their ropes on! It is a great way to lose appetite. Save your money and book your hotel somewhere else! It is the worst place we have ever been!
If you have ever been to a really nice Spa then it would surprise me if you gave this more then 3 stars. The relaxation room is not comfortable. The women chatted loudly the 3 days I went. Nobody to quiet people. It was cool almost cold inside too. The steam room did not work all week and I think this is the most important room for me. The staff said we are working on it every time I asked instead of being honest that it was not working all week... very dissapointed.
The atmosphere of the spa was amazing and so relaxing. You feel relaxed before you even begin a treatment. The staff are helpful and so considerate. Highly recommended, I will be returning.
